Yokosuka Hiking

We rounded out our Seabee ball weekend by stopping for a nice hike on our way home from Yokosuka. John had done this hike with his fellow NAVFAC officers in February so Jennifer was eager to check it out and see the rock climbing walls at the top.  The trail offered a lot of scenic variety, from shaded streams to huge vistas overlooking cities and coastline. The route also included pathways to a temple or two, which always offer unique architecture and flora.

The ride home proved to be spectacular since we happened to catch the sun going down on Mt. Fuji. Fortunately, traffic wasn't too awful driving back so we were home in plenty of time to prepare to tackle the week on Monday.

Farewell, Yokosuka, and thank you for a fabulous weekend!
