A baby twofer is a statistical anomaly in and of itself, but this particular blessing is especially heartwarming. To keep it brief, let's just say that children don't always come easily in our family. Finally, in August, Lisa and Tim were immensely blessed by their daughter, Sierra. What a bundle of joy and energy! Watching Sierra's adoption process from such a close vantage point was truly an honor. Seeing one loving a couple give their child to another loving couple is selfless from all angles and a beautiful thing to watch unfold.
Given that background, you can see why the story of their growing family and these twins has been penned with a divine quill, and perhaps a sense of humor. Life has its moments, both good and bad, but every so often we're reminded of the miracles happening around us every day. This is one of those moments.

This has been the most exciting news I have heard this year. And Jennifer - you are absolutely right, if this isn't a perfectly wonderful miracle, I don't know what is! (And, I, like you, maintain that clearly our God has a sense of humor!)
