A Month in Review

We are sorry that we haven't been updating our blog recently, but there has been a lot of running around for both of us over the past month. As we last posted, Jennifer's sister was blessed with twin baby boys recently, which gave her the perfect excuse for an extended trip back to California to help provide support to the Family Circus. In the midst of changing a few diapers, cuddling with babies, and chasing our 1-year-old niece around the house, Jennifer was also able to attend two weddings, Sierra's first birthday party and catch up with a few friends. The timing turned out to be perfect because John pretty much spent the entire time that she was gone at work handling what usually ends up being the busiest month of the year. He did however get a chance to take a day trip to a local archery range and scratch a shooting itch that he's been feeling since moving to Japan. With so much going on, rather than elaborate in word form, here is a photo recap of the past few weeks for this rendition....

There is something very therapeudic about bows and arrows...

Thank you, California, for a wonderful visit! We are already looking forward to the next time!
